Meet The Staff
Director: Aaron Moss
Raised in the savannas of Africa, my parents were missionaries in Kenya for the first ten years of my life. There we raised ostriches on an ostrich farm. Afterwards I moved to Colorado where I went to middle school and high school. At Arvada High School I was the vice president of GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) and there I was first introduced to color guard which is now my one true passion. I marched at Arvada all four years I was in high school and later went on to march Signature and Opus X with Scot, the cofounder of Anesidora. I now work part-time as an Abercrombie and Fitch model as well as teach color guard.
Director: Scot McGiveron
I have been involved with marching bands and winter guards since high school. I majored in music education in college performing with several ensembles. During this time, I taught percussion and color guard at several high schools in Florida and Kentucky before moving to Colorado. I have taught and assisted with several Colorado high school marching bands and winter guards since 2002. In 2004, I marched with the independent world class Signature Color Guard where I met Aaron. In 2011-2012, Aaron and I co-founded Anesidora. I have now taken on more of the administrative roles as the organization has grown! I am so looking forward to our continued growth as a well-reputable organization to represent the state of Colorado!
I have been involved in the winter guard activity for 12 years. I have marched for groups such as the Blue Knights and Opus X and have been dancing since I was 4. I am excited to be working with such a talented group of individuals.
I have been involved in the Color Guard activity for over 13 years, including with the 2004 World Champion Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps, and WGI Open Class medalists and World Class finalists Opus X Winter Guard. I have been teaching high school and Independent Winter Guards since 2009. Color guard is my passion and profession, and I am well equipped to teach technique for flag, rifle, saber, and movement, and am also an experienced choreographer.
