Roles
(Required)
Descriptions of roles are included below so you know what is expected in that role.
Check In / Door Monitor
Out-of-State Member Van Driver
Truck and Trailer Driver
Merch Booth Assistant
Concessions Assistant
Check In / Door Monitor
This role will specifically apply to events such as the Friends & Family Preview Show, the Send-Off Show, clinics, auditions, and any rehearsals where a door monitor is required (which is not typically needed). Responsibilities include ticket sales and verification, as well as unit, staff, and member check-in. In this role, these boosters are often the first point of contact and may be asked to answer questions regarding the event.
Out-of-State Member Van Driver
This role will specifically apply to shows located outside of Colorado that require van transportation. If it is a season when vans are not being used, this role may not be necessary. Typically, vans are used for closer destinations within approximately 12 hours of travel, such as Kansas City or Las Vegas. For insurance purposes, vans are rented, and gas is covered. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that members are transported to designated locations as needed throughout the weekend.
Truck & Trailer Driver
This important role may be needed frequently or only for specific events. We often require someone to transport our trailer to rehearsal sites each rehearsal day, as we are unable to leave our equipment on-site. For those looking to help occasionally, the most significant need is driving the truck and trailer to out-of-state regionals or to Dayton for WGI Championships. A truck can be rented, or you may use your own vehicle. Gas is covered. Some trips may take up to 20 hours or more, depending on the regional locations for the season; however, we generally aim to attend closer regionals to minimize travel time.
Merch Booth Assistant
This role will specifically apply to select events or shows where our merchandise booth is set up. Responsibilities include assisting customers with merchandise, processing sales, verifying online orders or donations, and serving as a strong promoter for the organization. This role may also assist with organizing and counting inventory at the end of each month, as well as managing and verifying incoming shipments. This role will work with the Merchandise Manager to reach goals.
Concessions Assistant
This role will be used during both the Friends & Family Preview Show and the Send-Off Show to manage and encourage concessions sales.
