What Does A Season Look Like?
Starting out, the first few months focuses on technique and overall comprehension at the level expected for all and then a little more for those in the higher class groups. This is, essentially, the first two months of the season.
Moving into December and January, it is full on learning the show from beginning to end. While there may be some edits that occur during the competitive months, the core of the show is completed at this time.
February and March are the competitive months and this is when everything really starts to come together. A Class and World will both have multiple out-of-state WGI regionals with another one occurring in Denver.
In April, we will attend the RMCGA State Championship and the multi-day long WGI Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
You put in many hours and spend a good amount of money to reach this point. Anesidora staff provide you with all the tools necessary to ensure your WGI experience is fun and memorable.
Dues are typically around $2,000 to $3,000 for a season with plenty of fundraising opportunities included. This amount allows us to cover all the expenses for the show along with ensuring our staff receives a decent pay for their hard work.
Time commitment is the most important portion of joining an independent group. You have to find time outside of rehearsal to practice and work on your cardio. Utilize your weekdays to benefit your weekends the best you can.
