2019 IA Cast

Charley

Charlie is in his second season with Anesidora. He has been doing guard for five years now and is still as clumsy as day one. Beyond that, he is also studying mech engineering. 

Claire Haverluk

Claire

Claire has been in guard since her sophomore year of high school and this will be her sixth season spinning in an ensemble. This is her first season spinning with Anesidora and she is extremely excited for this season. She is also a freshman at CSU who is taking full advantage of being young, wild, and free!

Coral Candelario

Coral

Coral is an Anesidora veteran. She began her journey with Wheat Ridge high school, and ever since graduation she focused all of her energy on performing. She made it to world championships in 2018 with the one guard that inspired her all through high school. Once winter was over, she auditioned for the Battalion, an open class Drum Corps from Utah. She was given a contract, and before she knew it she was at Mile High Stadium. For years she sat in the stands, dreaming and hoping that one day she would be out on that field. She is thankful that she has not only one, but two organizations that love and support her. She has accomplished so much already and she is ready for more. Colorguard is all she has.

Cris Ventura

Cris

Cris has been doing color guard for quite sometime now and he really enjoys it. This will be his 2nd season with Anesidora and his excited to see what this season has in store.

Elena Haverluk

This will be Elena’s third season with Anesidora. She spun four seasons of Wintergard at Rampart high school and played clarinet in the marching band. She is a junior at CSU, studying biological anthropology and Russian. “I love rocks!!” -Elena

Holly Satter

Holly

Holly is a sophmore at CU Boulder, studying Chem Bio engineering, with a minor in biomed engineering. She has been doing colorguard for 6 years and this will be her second season in Anesidora. She can’t wait to see what this season brings!

Karen Uvina

Karen

Karen is currently a student at CU-Boulder studying psychology and sociology. She marched with Fairview high school from 2011-2015, CU’s colorguard in 2015, and March 3 seasons with Anesidora. This will be her fourth season with Anesidora. She has also been a tech for Centaurus and taught the colorguard at Fairview. She is a huge whovian, loves Harry Potter (and anything Harry Potter related), and she loves colorguard! She is so excited to spin another season with Anesidora. And she is excited to see what this season holds!

Dalzell

Kat has been doing colorguard for 5 years. She has a dog and a cat. “They’re cool. So is colorguard!” -Kat

Kayla Blank

Kayla

Kayla is 20 years old and grew up in Windsor, Colorado. She join colorguard in 2012 and it has been her passion ever since. She marched 6 seasons in high school and two seasons with Malachi Independent. Outside of guard she love fashion, make up, and country music. She also loves to spend time with friends and family, and she is majoring in psychology.

Kyle Schade

Kyle has been doing winter guard for 2 seasons now here at Anesidora and one at Arapahoe, he also marched one field season at Heritage. He is currently a tech for the color guard at Heritage high school. He loves guard so much and is very excited for this see how this season goes. 

Madeline Nagel

Madeline

Madeline (or Maddie for short) loves the mountains, skiing, and Harry Potter. This will be her 10th season of colorguard, and she is very excited to spin with Anesidora!

Madison Axtell

Madison

This will be Maddie’s fifth season of color guard and her second season with Anesidora. She also spun with Lakewood high school for 3 winter seasons. She is a music major at Metro with an emphasis in percussion. A fun fact about her is that she love dogs! Dance is her passion and she can’t wait for this season!!

Meagan Dowd

This is Meagan or a lot of people just call her “Dowd” (my last name). This is her third winter season and her first season with Anesidora. She marched with Legacy High School for two fall seasons and two winter season, and then senior year she was on the Malachi Independent A Team. A fun fact about her is that I was born in Seoul, South Korea! She can’t wait to see what the season brings!

Megan Facey

Megan Facey is 20 years old and is studying biochemistry at CU Boulder. She graduated from Legacy High School. This is her sixth year doing colorguard and her first year at Anesidora. “I’m so excited for this season!!” -Megan  

Megan Templeton

Megan is a second year student at the University of Northern Colorado perusing a degree in biology with an emphasis in secondary ed. This is her 3rd year spinning with Anesidora and her 6th year over all. She is very excited for this new season and can’t wait to see what’s in store!

Megann Cogger

Megann

This will be Megann’s ninth season spinning. She is 18 years old and a graduate from Chaparral high school in Parker, Colorado. Today, she is a proud member of the bear community at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. She is currently pursuing a major in earth science with an emphasis in geology. She is a first year member on the Anesidora team.

Monica Mason

Monica is 21 years old and she has been doing Color Guard for 8 years. She graduated from Arapahoe High School where she started guard and did all 4 years. She then marched at Solstice independent for a year then marched 2 years at Opus X. She loves the different people she has met along her journey, as well as all the different teachers she has gotten to learn from. Besides spinning and performing her favorite thing to do is teach color guard. She loves to share her passion and inspire others. Color Guard is her life and she wouldn’t change it for the world!

Rebecca Williams

Ms. WorldWide. Rebecca has lived in California, Spain, and Romania but has been living in Colorado since 2010. She’s spun in color guard for 5 years now. She performed with the Lakewood high school guard for 3 years, marched in Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2017, and Crossmen Drum and Bugle corps in 2018. This will be Rebecca’s second season marching in Anesidora and is super excited for WGI 2019!

Ryan Vela

Ryan

This is Ryan, and 2019 will be his sixth season of Winter Guard, and his 8th season of color guard overall! Before this season, he marched with the Wheat Ridge Winter Guard from 2014-17 and Anesidora 2018. He also marched color guard with the Wheat Ridge Farmer Pride Band, the Arvada HS Marching Band, and he was a dancer in the Oracle Performance Ensemble 2018. He also teaches color guard at Thornton HS and Wheat Ridge HS. When he is not spinning, he’s in college at CU Boulder studying History and French. 2018 was a great year for color guard in Colorado, and he is so excited to see what 2019 has to offer! “See y’all on the floor!” -Ryan

Sierra Lester

Sierra has been doing colorguard for eight years. She has marched one season with Solstice RA, five years with Arapahoe High School, one season with Opus X, and this will be her first season with Anesidora! In her free time, she likes to do her make up and teach preschool!

This is Teyá and she loves color guard! She has been doing color guard for 8 years. (3 years high point, 1 year Archetype, 4 years Malachi) In the summer, she marched with the Pomona marching band and Genesis drum and bugle corps. And here she is! “Who knows what the season will hold but here we go!” -Teyá

Walter enjoys working hard, having fun, and Tokyo Joe’s. He is currently a junior at Arapahoe High School. He has been in color guard for 3 days now and  he is very excited to be marching with Anesidora this season!
